All Karnataka State-Level Sri Shukla Yajurvediya Viprotsava Conference - A Unique Event in Hubballi-Dharwad

HUBBALLI-DHARWAD: The All Karnataka State-Level Sri Shukla Yajurvediya Viprotsava Conference will be held from October 12 to 15 in Hubballi-Dharwad. This four-day conference is being organized at the Sri Vidyabharati Sabhabhavan, Sringeri Sri Shankaracharya Mutt.

Dignitaries from various fields will participate in the conference. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Karnataka Ministers Dinesh Gundu Rao, H.K. Patil, and Santosh Lad, along with former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya, former Minister R.V. Deshpande, and many other prominent figures will be in attendance.

Key Events:

Sunday, October 12: The conference will begin at 4 PM with a procession from Sri Ishwara Temple in Gandhinagar, Dharwad, to Sringeri Sri Shankaracharya Mutt. Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi will inaugurate the program.
Monday, October 13: The day will feature Sri Mahaganapati Homa, the inauguration of the Viprotsava conference, and the inauguration of the Sri Shivachidambara Library. Various sessions will be held on topics such as the protection of Dharma and culture, nurturing religious institutions, and the use of technology. Farmers and retired soldiers will also be felicitated.
Tuesday, October 14: The morning will include Sri Yogishwara Yajnavalka Maharshi's Ashtottara and Sri Rudra Swahakara. There will be a meeting for public representatives, a session on women's self-reliance, and discussions on Yajnavalka Smriti and literature. Former MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi and the head of Adamyachetana Foundation, Smt. Tejaswini Ananthakumar, will participate as special invitees. Special achievers among women and senior citizens above 90 years of age will be honored.
Wednesday, October 15: A session on Brahmin welfare and a valedictory ceremony will be held. Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamigalu will participate and release the book "Yoga Yajnavalka."


The conference will also include yoga demonstrations, devotional songs, Yajna-Homa rituals, various parayana recitals, and cultural programs. The objective of the conference is to protect Dharma and culture, provide training for competitive exams to youth, offer career guidance, and strengthen the community.

The organizers have requested all community members and interested individuals to participate in large numbers. Details for donations, including bank account information and a QR code, have also been provided. Attendees of the religious programs are required to wear traditional attire.
